Clarion at 60
Clarion celebrates 60 years as one of America's oldest early music organizations and the legacy of its founder, Newell Jenkins. The 35-piece period-instrument Clarion Orchestra, and the 24-member Clarion Choir will perform Haydn's final major work, the splendid Harmoniemesse, named for its intricate writing for the winds, together with his festive and brilliant Te Deum, composed in 1802 for Empress Maria Teresa.
